I gave this park a 4 star because the other features look nice and I am sure they are useful. The walking trails look very good. They should have left some of the large trees so that there is some shade.
A dog park? Not hardly. Very small areas. A few puny trees. This area is very warm and has strong sun. A great place to take your dog for a case of heat prostration. The bench for people sits in the sun, no other option. I can't imagine taking a dog there except in the winter. Our dog checked out the spindly trees, took a walk around the fence to see what was what and said, "let's go, my backyard is wayyyyy better than this!"
I was going over in the morning early afternoon during the week to ride my bike. No one is ever out there. If you see one or two people it's a lot. I was stopped and told you can't ride your bike the trails are walking only. So my tax dollars with this place mean nothing. They would have no one use it at all than to have an open park for people. The absolute most asinine place in the world.
I love this park it's the most relaxing place I have ever been in my life it's better than all of the park near Chicago this by the safest environment for kids do to the fact barely anyone goes here at the same it have interesting environment that kids can do and enjoy on the outdoor activities and even have great picnics with there family nothing is better than having privacy with you family and a nice sunny day.
Huge park with lots to do. If you have an R/C car one of the parking lots are usually empty so you can race them on it.
Very clean Love going there and watch my Grandkids play Ball
